One of the most important objectives of EGSPJ is to foster the cultivation of self-discipline among its students. We believe that acceptable norms of behavior can be achieved by suitable adult examples, consistent high expectations and a firm insistence on good conduct.

  • A clear list of Do’s and Don’ts will be given to all at the beginning of the academic year.
  • Physical or verbal bullying will be severely penalized.
  • Visitors must be approached, welcomed and assisted.

Inappropriate public behavior that spoils the school’s reputation will be severely dealt with. Deliberately missing the lessons and late coming will not be tolerated.

Academic Honesty

Academic dishonesty includes acts which may result in a student gaining unfair advantage. The following is a list of such behavior but is by no means exhaustive.

  • Attempting unfair means and misbehaving in an examination setting like copying from another student or making information available to another student.
  • Fabricating and falsifying data from experiments or projects.
  • Submitting the same piece of work for more than one course or copying another student’s work as his/ her piece of work
  • Altering grades awarded by a teacher
